RIPC is known for its quality worship and congregational life, as well as members' individual and corporate engagement with local needs. A healthy congregation from young families to singles to retirees, we strive to help everyone from the native islander to the visiting tourist share our fellowship and sense of family every Sunday.

Sunday Worship is at 10:00AM - Kevin Brunk, Pastor - all are welcome. A nursery for infants and toddlers and Sunday School for children to age 12 are provided.

Directions:

Roanoke Island is situated between the Dare County mainland and Nags Head, on the North Carolina Outer Banks. RIPC is located on the corner of Highway 64/264 and Harriot Street on the north edge of the quaint town of Manteo. The church is a short drive for residents and visitors of South Nags Head, Wanchese, and Mann's Harbor and is on the way to the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Raleigh and the Elizabethan Gardens.

Coming from the beach, turn right at the stop light just past Manteo Elementary School and the Dare County Library. Traveling from the north end of Roanoke Island, turn left at the second stop light as you enter Manteo, just past the Roanoke Island Fire Station.

Our Mission Statement:

"Equipping the Saints for the Work of Ministry" comes from the Bible and is found in the 4th chapter of the apostle Paul's Letter to the Ephesians. Here Paul writes about God's gifts to those we identify with as everyday sinner-saints, those gathering together who seek to follow Jesus.

Ministry to others is our reason for being. The sacraments and rites of our church help us center and consecrate our lives. The fellowship of a loving community enables us to build one another up as we confess our sins, forgive one another, and share our gifts, our joys and our sorrows in mutual affection. We reach out to our community, inviting others to share our vision of our church and to covenant with us in its work and worship. A Christian education program teaches us and our children the holy things of our faith and equips us for the work of ministry.
